Why does the SP web site get changed so much?

Variety is the Spice of Life! People like to see that something is going on, whey they visit a web page. I, for one, do not go back time after time, if I do not see something changing on a web site.  That is one reason that I take the time to change the style, the look, the arrangement of things on the Sleepytown Press site. It makes it more interesting.

That is a great idea for your persoanl web sites. People want to see change.

Design:

1. Is the site’s design attractive?

2. Are the colors used related? Do you have hot pink with a color that does not match? If so, think about changing something.

3. Are the colors easy to read? Do you have yellow type on top of white pages? That will be very difficult to read.

4. Is the design appropriate? Does it fit the theme of your site? Visit similar web sites and see what is attractive to you.

Here is a suggestion that I made to an author concerning a cover design for her book. I told her to go to the local book store and look at similar books to her book. See what colors attract you as well as make you want to pick up the book. She reported back to me and told me what she liked and did not like.

I told her that it is important that she does not copy an author. The cover for her book needs to be original.

With all of that said, I will share this about my web site. I use weebly because I like it. it is easy. There are also a limited number of designs that are available for use on the site. I, for one, do not write HTML, so it is not easy for me to change the look of web pages. So, I choose to select from the options available.

That is a choice and someone way smarter than me can easily make even these web pages more original.

To make up for it, I frequently change
