Decatur Book Fair 2011: It was "HOT! HOT! HOT!"
Decatur Georgia Book Fair 2011
Above, you will see some of the pictures from the Festival. Saturday was so hot. I think that I melted "twice." I was so busy doing this and that and forgot to make pictures, when Fran and Ellen were at the booth from 10 - 12. All in all the festival did not seem as crowded as last year, but I think that the temperature had a lot to do with it.
Sunday: The weather was cooler. It did "sprinkle" rain, but people still got out and walked around. I am sure they were happy to get cooled-off from Saturday.
Go to www.amazon.com and check out the books from all of our Sleepytown Press authors. You are also invited to look to the left of this page and click on an author's name to go to their SP Page.

Decatur, Georgia book Fair September 4th and 5th, 2010
The Decatur Book Fair was amazing. We made some incredible contacts as well as met a lot of people. Fran drove up from Florida and autographed and sold her books. The Festival was incredible. Sleepytown press will go back next year and hopefully a lot of Sleepytown Authors will make plans to come over and sign their books.

Little Shop of Stories

If you happen to be anywhere near Decatur, Georgia, you must stop and visit the incredible shops in this little town. One of Sleepytown Press' favorite stores has to be the Book Store. From its unique and cute name to the way they have the books displayed is amazing. One of the most impressive things was the display of local authors with the sign "We Love Our Local Authors." Why don't more book stores care enough to do the same?
