Why rent?
Hmmm...I have no regrets, but My wife and I worked in a Christian School for years. She was there 20 years and I was there 18 years. We did not actually "bring home the bank," but money is not everything. We never had the opportunity to purchase a nice home. At one time, we lived in a very small home that my dad built. It was very old and needed thousands of dollars of work. I could not afford it. It also needed a new septic tank. Basically, it needed the walls torn down and the inside rebuilt.
I sold that house and paid off a debt. I was not able to purchase a home. You have to think of a small two-bedroom house that needed to be rebuilt. It was the home that I grew up in, as a child. I miss it, in some ways.
We rent an apartment and with just a little more, we can move into an unfurnished home. It has five bedrooms. It also was a basement and it is located near a lake with ample woods.
Zander and Zoe will love it.
My family is very important. If you don't have family, you don't have very much.
