All of the novels and adult books have now been added to the Kindle Store on Amazon.com.

Sleepytown Press authors have their books formatted for Kindle at "no extra charge." it is part of the total publishing experience.

Color books are another matter. The kindle does not show color pages. At this time, it does not work very well to put a color book on kindle.

We are exploring other avenues for color books. Some readers, like the Literati are color. There may be a way to add color books to those sites, soon.

Wow! The Summer has been busy and it is going fast. First, my mom passed away on June 5th. She had been sick for a long time. Years ago, she fell and broke a foot. From that time, she basically became home-bound. She would not go out. It was very difficult to get around.

Back in January, she began to go in and out of the hospital. This was very difficult for her and she hated being in the hospital. She was so afraid of going in and never going home.

Mom went into the Intensive Care Unit of our local hospital in April. I did not think that she would come out. She did. She was a fighter. She just wanted to go home.

At the end of May, she was put in a home for rehab. She hoped this would get her  home. It did not. She had a turn for the worse, after a week of being in that place.

Mom was taken back to the hospital on a Wednesday and she passed away on that Sunday night at 10:15PM.

Right before all of this happened, I had just read the book "Heaven is for Real." I am glad that I had read it. It made me feel better about this time. I believe that my mom is in a better place. She is no longer sick and she is in her prime. She would not want to come back.

So, it is now July 14th and I miss my mom, more than I imagined. She lived across town and it took about 20 minutes to get to her house, but knowing that she is not there is difficult.

She had her moments, but she loved her family.

Her last "five words" were:

To me: "Love You."

For my two grand children, Zander and Zoe: "I Love Them!"
