How Do You Do It!

I know that you are probably reading this because you love to write. Maybe you are really good at it, or you want to improve. So, you came across Sleepytown Press and you discovered that there are people like you who are real. I do not claim to know it all, but I surely have put a lot of years and tears into the creative process. I try to be honest. I say it like it is, I think. At least, I want to be that kind of person.

I would really like to hear from you guys. I have on average around 500 hits a week on this site. How about taking the time to drop me an email at sleepytownpress@yahoo.com and tell me what is going on in your life? What is your dream? How do you hope to achieve it? What is your plan? Tell me about you. Share with me. I would enjoy getting to know you.

Then, if you did not mind, would you allow me to share you with others on here. If it would be okay to post that I heard from you, let me know. I would even answer your email on here and just be real, you know. Hey, I love reading and writing. It is in my blood.

Speaking of blood, I have a vampire novel that I really need to finish, but people say that Vampire stuff has run its course. Well, if it has run its course, why do I look for Vampire books to read, when I go to Target, or the local book store?

Busy Summer

Sorry to be waiting so long to post another item to my blog, but I have been so busy. I worked two sessions of "Kid's College" at our local Junior College. I have an Adult Ed Conference next week. (I work two nights a week teaching Math in GED Class.) I did not go to conference last year.

I am registered for the September 4th and 5th Book Fair in Decatur, Georgia. I really think it will be a great time for Sleepytown Press. I should make a lot of great contacts.

I just published our first Hardcover Color Picture Book. It is beautiful. Check out the author pages to find out more about the book.

Drop me an email at sleepytownpress@yahoo.com and request the "Sleepytown Newsletter."
